Welcome to the site of Model Behaviour:

Model Behaviour is a not-for-profit social enterprise, supported by committee members. We provide positive role models for children from any ethnic origin and ability.

Children will meet a number of role models who will share their life experiences, from their school age to adulthood, focussing on education and work life.  Children will be encouraged to take part in practical workshop sessions, ask and answer questions.  They will meet positive role models from various areas of the community, age range, religious and ethnic background.

Model Behaviour aim to:

• Inspire children to learn;

• Encourage children to take responsibility for their own learning;   

• Motivate children to set goals for the future;

• Help children write learning contracts and

• Support children to reach their full potential.

Upon completing the programme schools have noticed and improvement in attendance, questioning skills and behaviour in and out of school.  There have also been improved exam results, confidence and positive self image.  It is our hope that those children who take part in the programme will then become positive role models themselves.
